California Attorney Robert A Brenner Launches The Burn Injury Law Group to Aid Burn Victims Nationwide

Every year in the United States approximately 2.4 million accidental burn injuries are reported; 20,000 of which involve burns over at least twenty five percent of the body. One million of these victims, through no fault of their own, will sustain substantial or permanent disabilities as a result of their injury-but only a small percentage will receive the compensation they deserve. The Burn Injury Law Group is devoted to changing these statistics and providing burn victims nationwide with the legal representation they need to restore their economic dignity after having their lives yanked out from under them.

“(Burn Victims) are often hesitant about contacting an attorney because they believe the accident or injury was in some way caused by (them),” says California Attorney Robert A. Brenner, founder of The http://www.burnsurvivor.com Burn Injury Law Group. “This may not be the case, and even if the injured individual is partly at fault…a substantial monetary recovery is still possible.”

The Burn Injury Law Group helps these victims get the compensation they need to pay their medical bills and cover the wages lost during months of painful recovery, as well as vocational rehabilitation to prepare them to re-enter the workforce, compensation for their pain and suffering and consortium compensation for the spouse who has lost support, affection, and companionship as a result of the injury.

“The law requires that each person owes every other person a duty to act as a reasonably prudent person would act under the same or similar circumstances,” says Brenner. “When a person or entity does not act reasonable they have violated that duty, and (they) will be held responsible for any injury or damage that results.”

Robert A. Brenner has served as counsel or co-counsel for hundreds of cases of http://www.burnsurvivor.com catastrophic injury which have resulted in million dollar recoveries for the victims, leading to his official recognition as a Southern California Super Lawyer in 2006, 2007, and 2008 by Law & Politics. He is an active member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, as well as the founder of The Burn Survivor Resource Center for burn survivors and their families.
