Barossa is located about 90 minutes from Adelaide a city which is located in The State of South Australia in of course Australia!

Barossa Valley is a world renowned wine region mainly known for having the world's best Shiraz red wine. There are many, many vineyards and it has been this way since the mid to late 1800's some vines even originate from Germany . As many settlers to The Barossa Valley from Germany in the 1800's bought vine roots with them in order to settle with good wine stocks. Germany heard about The Barossa Valley's great soil quality and suitability for growing Shiraz you could call it ‘The Great Grape Rush of the 1800's'
